Pogacar enters Andorra alone with another demonstration of mastery
The Slovenian took a big hit in the first stage of the high mountain, breaking the race with 50.5 kilometers to finish, in the Coll de Beixalis, with Widar second and Gall third.
Tadej Pogacar has dominated the fourth stage of the Return toSpain, reaching the finish line alone, after an exhibition on the Andorran roads, so that Tuesday's stage has left the first major difference in the race. On a 104.8 kilometrejourney with departure and arrival in Andorra la Vella, victory has allowed the Slovenian to strengthen his leadership and begin to make significant differences in the overall ranking.
Pogacar attacked on the climb to the Coll de Beixalisand sentenced the race in theabsence of 50.5 km to finish . The UAE cyclist has attacked and managed to widen a gap that his rivals have not been able to narrow. Thanks to this movement, he has made the most decisive part of the stage alone and has reached Andorra la Vella with amargin of 2 minutes and 45 seconds ahead of the team that came from behind.
From behind, Jarno Widar(Lotto) and Felix Gall(Decathlon) have best kept up with the pace set by the leader and have managed to get intothe second and third place of the stage. Pogacar has won his second win in this year's Lap. He has also strengthened his lead , ahead of Primoz Roglic in 3 minutes and21 seconds.
