The Return to Spain 2027 will leave Santiago and begin in September
This will be the eighth time the race has started from Galicia and will begin with an "online stage based on the Camino de Santiago".
The 2027 edition of the Return to Spain will depart from Galicia, specifically from Santiago, and will compete outside the usual dates, from 4 to 26 September, as confirmed this Sunday by the organization.
It will be the eighth time that the race starts from Galicia and starts with "an online stage based on the Camino de Santiago. There will be at least four stages and the idea is to be in the four provinces of Galicia," explained Javier Guillén, CEO of the race.
In addition, there will be a change of dates in the next edition. Accustomed to starting in August, this time it will start in September, because the World Road Championships have brought forward their dates (24 August to 5 September).
