Unai Laso and Jokin Altuna have qualified for the 4-and-a-half final of the San Fermín tournament. In the first semi-final, Laso has defeated Peña II by 22-6. He has played much more and won easily. In the second, Altuna seemed to be dominated by the game, but in the end he had to be tough to beat Zabala 22-17.

Amezketa's forward will face Javi Zabala in the semi-final. The two pelotaris will seek the pass to the final next Friday at Donostia's Atano III fronton.

Today the San Fermín Couples Tournament was presented in Pamplona, which will take place from 5 to 14 July at the Labrit and the Navarra Arena. Arkaitz Gabirondo will play for the first time in Series A, with Joseba Ezkurdia as a couple.

In the quarter-final of the San Fermín Tournament played in Gernika, Unai Laso beat Erik Jaka 18-22. Laso made a great start and, despite opening the gap, Jaka scored seven in a row to set the 13-13. From there the duel was even until 17-17, but in the final stretch Laso again prevailed, closing the match with eta 18-22.

Thanks to this victory, on July 3 he will play the semi-final against Peña at Donostia's Atano fronton.

Jon Ander Peña has won 22-13 for Iker Larrazabal and qualified for the semi-finals of the San Fermín Tournament in Sestao. After a very equal start, in which they were tied to 11, the match fell in the second half on the side of a stronger Peña II. The semi-final rival will leave the match between Laso and Artola in Gernika.

Zenotz's striker soon broke the San Fermín Championship game by putting 11-2 in his favor, allowing him to play a more aggressive game in the second half of the game played in Hernani. He will face Jokin Altuna in the next phase, Monday, in Mungia. 

Astelena has taken over the match after five months without a match by the Eibar fronton. The match was 341 balls, 63 minutes of intense competition. The Manomanist champion was winning 21-18, but in the end it was Zabala who took the victory. Both pelotaris were exhausted. Javi Zabala will measure Joseba Ezkurdia in the quarterfinals.

The longest tournament of the summer will begin on July 17 in Viana. Javi Zabala will partner with Morgaetxebarria in Series B. On the other hand, Elordi and Mariezkurrena will partner in Series A, Altuna and Imaz will repeat one more year, and the Manomanist champion Dario Gómez will be escorted by Iztueta.

This Sunday the hand finals of the AMPO Tournament were played in Zumarraga from Euskal Herria to the world. In the female category, Gamind clearly defeated Arrizabalaga (2-10 and 4-10), while in the male category Carregal defeated Irribarria (8-10 and 3-10).

Erik Jaka and Unai Amiano have measured their strength in Orozko at the 16th final of the Four and Half San Fermin Tournament. Despite the young man's efforts, every time he has approached the scoreboard, Jaka has shown his experience  to get the win (22-17).

The tournament will be held in eight villages in La Rioja from 16 May to 4 July.

This Sunday, April 26, the final will be played at the Modern Trinkete in Baiona, where the Navarro Espinal and the labortano Ducassou set out as favorites in front of the Vizcaínos Ziarrusta and Ugarte. The final can be followed live on ETB1, ETB2 ON and EITBKirolak.eus.

Argentina will host the 11th edition of the Absolute World Ball Championships from 6 to 12 April. In Abadiño this Friday was presented the expedition that will travel there. 

The finals will be played on April 12 at the Beloki fronton in Zumarraga, and will be broadcast live by ETB1 and EITB platforms.
