Kern Pharma returns to Spain to repeat his success in 2024
Berrade, Uriarte, Cobo, Brustenga, Ruiz, Elosegi, Ramiro Sosa and Wenzel are the eight runners chosen by the Navarre team to take part in the race starting this Saturday in Monaco.

Urko Berrade, Diego Uriarte, Ivan Cobo, Marc Brustenga, Ibon Ruiz, Iñigo Elosegi, Ivan Ramiro Sosa and Mats Wenzel are the runners chosen by the Kern Pharma team to take part in the Return to Spain starting this Saturday in Monaco.
This will be the third time that the Navarro team has participated in the Return to Spain, with theaim of repeating the good results achieved in 2024 , when it was therevelation of the race and won three stages .
One of them was won by Berrad, the cyclist who returns to the Lap. Uriarte, Cobo, Brustenga, Ruiz, Elosegi, Ramiro Sosa and Wenzel addexperience, youth and talent .
The race will end on September 13, after completing 21 stages and more than 3,000 kilometers of travel. The Tour will cover Monaco, France, Andorra and Spain.
The team's presentation took place on Tuesday at the Navarra Arena pavilion in Pamplona and was attended by the team's sports director , Juanjo Oroz, cyclists Ibon Ruiz and Diego Uriarte, and the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism of the Foral Community, Rebeca Esnaola.
Two years later, the Navarro team, which competes in the UCI ProTeam category, hopes to raise its arms again in the Lap goals, even though the difficulties of the race require caution.
Ibon Ruiz has explained that the team comes "very well prepared" and, after the results obtained in their previous participation, aspires to at least one stage victory.
The Lap has come at a crucial moment for the team's future,asits continuity in the 2027 season is not assured, after Kern Pharma, the main sponsor for seven seasons, decided to leave the team.
That is why GeneralManager Juanjo Oroz has claimed responsibility forthe Navarre team's project because for 34 years has been linked to Navarre cycling and the training of young cyclists, stressing the importance of ensuring an environment in which they can grow and make the leap to the highest level.
Diego Uriarte will contest a 21-stage race for the first time and stressed that participating in this edition allows him to "continue fulfillingdreams " .
