Beyond his sporting successes, Angela Vilariño has fought a major personal battle in recent years, overcoming breast cancer.

As a symbol of hope and the fight against cancer, both his helmet and his Porsche 911 GT3 will be pink throughout the season.

After all that has been experienced over the years, being able to compete again at the highest level is very important to me," the Guipuzcoan sportsman stressed in a statement.
