Lorena Wiebes is the first leader of the Tour after winning in Lausanne
Dutch cyclist Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx - Protime) has become the first leader of the Tour de France after winning the first stage ending in Lausanne after being the fastest in the sprint.
Second place was for Kim Le Court , the AG Insurance - Soudal sprinter, and third for Demi Vollering (FDJ - Suez) , who launched an unsuccessful attack on the toughest stretch of the final climb.

The first stage began and ended in Lausanne, with a journey of 138 kilometres, including three third-class levels and a fourth class port, Côte Saint-François (2.6 kilometres on a 4.6% slope).
