Kasia Niewiadoma won at Mont Ventoux and wore the yellow jersey

Polishcyclist Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon) has won the seventh stage of the 146.8 km Tour de France between La Voulte-sur-Rhône and thefearsome ascent  to the Mont Ventoux.

From the beginning it seemed that the last climb to the end of the stage, the Mont Ventoux, was going to be the last referee of the day. There have been several attempts to escape, but the teams of rivals have done a great job and neutralized the escapes for 19 kilometers.

In 'The Giant of Provence', Niewiadoma has had the audacity to attack, still 10 kilometers away, and has reached the summit alone, taking advantage of the scant collaboration between Reusser and Demi Volleringen (FDJ-Suez) who were behind, in the finish line, put more than 1:15 to the Dutchman and 1:45 to the Swiss, enough to be the new leader of the Tour de France, with 15 seconds ahead.

The eighth stage, which will be played on Saturdays, will be a small break before the final day on Sunday, where the winner of the race will be decided. This Saturday, the platoon will travel 171.9 kilometers between Sistero and Nice . The second part of the route is good, but cyclists will have to pass many small ports so that no one can relax.
