The French cyclistPauline Ferrand-Prévot (Visma) will defend the yellow jersey she won last year in the fifth edition of the Tour de France , which will compete from 1 to 9 August . Demi Vollering (FDJ-Suez) and Paula Blasi (UAE) will also be nominated for leadership.
Ferrand-Prévot has not competed since 9 May, when he finished the Return to Spain in 35th place. The Frenchman is aiming to repeat last year's victory .
