Pogacar hits Pantani's record to sentence Alpe d'Huez's Tour

The Slovenian Tadej Pogacar has won his fifth win on the Tour de France, the prestigious stage ending in Alpe d'Huez, two days from arriving in Paris.
Pogacar has outperformed the Frenchman Lenny Martinez and theEcuadorian Richard Carapaz , winner of the previous day's stage and one of the escape survivors. Carapaz, the most combative cyclist of the day, has led the mountain classification.
