Mikel Landa is out of the Tour de France
Murgiarra will not participate in the Tour de France due to a back injury. Soudal Quick Step is betting on Belgian Tim Merlier.

Mikel Landa has not entered the eight of the Soudal Quick Step ahead of the Tour de France. The Alavés cyclist won fifth place in the overall ranking of the last edition, but has not recovered in time from his permanent back injury to take part in this year's.
Landa has expressed disappointment: "I am very disappointed that I will not be there after the loss of the Giro de Italia. It has been a difficult year so far, and after having had problems on the Tour de Switzerland, I realised that there is no point in trying to go to the Tour.
In addition to the Soudal Quick Step, Pascal Eenkhoorn, Jasper Stuyven, Valentin Paret-Peintre, Dylan van Baarle, Bert Van Lerberghe, Ilan Van Wilder and Luis Vervaeke have been selected to face the Tour de France.
