The Dane has crossed the finish line with authority and alone, after attacking for 20 kilometers, and has almost sentenced the overall ranking of the French race.
The Danish Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma) Lease a Bike won the fifth stage of the Paris-Nice 2026 on Thursday, 206.3 kilometers, between Cormoranche-sur-Saône and Colombier-le-Vieux, attacking for 20 kilometers.
After several days of harsh weather conditions due to rain and low temperatures, the sun has risen again in the French race, and that is where the Danish, winner of the 2022 and 2023 Tour de France, has demonstrated his enormous ability to strengthen his leadership in Paris/Nice.
