Lointek Gernika has prevailed in the last Basque derbi of the year, defeating IDK Euskotren 80-75

The Lointek Gernika Bizkaiahas won the Basque derbi against IDK Euskotrenwith a score of 80-75. The match has had two faces. In the first part the Guipuzcoans have come to have a 15-pointadvantage over Azu Muguruza, but in the second part the reaction of the gernikarras has come. 

The Guipuzcoan team has dominated the game at the beginning of the game, so in the first five minutes it has gained a four-point (4-8) advantage, then the locals have not been able to react and the first quarter has ended with a 20-27favorable to the IDK Euskotren.

Inthe second quarter, Azu Muguruza's team, playing at a faster pace, has done a lot of damage in the rebounds. The Donostiarra team has achieved a 7-0 partial in the five minutes of Lenen and has achieved a 15-point ( 20-35) advantage on the scoreboard. The Donostiarra team, with a very good ball movement, a strong attack and a strong defense, has unbalanced the match.

However, in the final stretch of the fourth, the Lointek was better and managed to cut distances (39-45). The Guipuzcoan team came to rest with 7 points of income (41- 48).

In the last ten minutes, Angela Salvadoresscored 22 points, the Lointek Gernika managed to turn the match around (80-75).  With victory the breath for the Biscayans, fifth consecutive defeat for the IDK Euskotren.
