Malen Osa and Kilian Jornet will participate in the Zegama-Aizkorri
The Catalan runner, who has won the test ten times, and the oñatiarras, who were third last year and second in 2024, have confirmed their departure on 17 May.
Kilian Jornet and Malen Osa will be at the exit of the Zegama-Aizkorri race on May 17, both runners confirmed after posting their calendars on social media.
The Catalan runner, winner of the Zegama-Aizkorri ten times (2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2019, 2022), has announced that he will almost repeat the 2022 calendar by taking part in the Western States 100 instead of Hardrock.
On the other hand, the oñatiarra will also participate in Lavaredo, Pitz Alpine and OCC, but without focusing on the Golden Trail World Series circuit for the first time in years. Osa was third in last year's Zegama-Aizkorri and second in 2024.
In the 2025 edition, the winners were Sara Alonso and Elhousine Elazzaoui. The Donostiarra, with a time of 4 hours, 27 minutes and 25 seconds, pulled out the thorn of previous editions, while the Moroccan (3 hours, 43 minutes and 28 seconds) won his first victory in Zegama Square.
On May 17, hundreds of fans will fly the runners to the world's flagship sites, the Sancti-Spirit. The qualifying test for the Golden Trail World Series has one more year 225 seats, and on February 20 it distributed all the ridges in the draw.
