Adreeva and Chwaliska will play the women's Roland Garros final
The Russian tennis player beat the Ukrainian Marta Kstyuk in two sets in the semi-finals (6-1/6-3), while the Polish beat the Russian Diana Shnaider in a tighter fight, including two sets (7-6 (4)/6-4).
The women's cadre at Roland Garros has already completed its grand finale, so the Russian Mirra Andreeva will face the Polish Maja Chwaliska on Saturday at the Philippe Chatrier track in Paris.
The Russian Andreeva has clearly outperformed the Ucanian Marta Kostyuk in two sets (6-1/6-3) , becoming the third youngest tennis player in the 21st century to jump to a Roland Garros final after Kim Clijsters (18 years and 1 day in 2001) and Coco Gauff (18 years and 83 days in 2022).
On the other hand,the Polish Maja Chwaliskahas also won Diana Shnaider (7-6 (4)/6-4) in a closer match. With this victory, she has made history by becoming the first tennis player to reach the final of the tournament since the previous stage of Roland Garros.
