The Bidasoa-Irun already has rivals in the group phase of the EHF European League

IRUDEK Bidasoa-Irun already knows its rivals in the EHF European League group phase of the 2026/27 season. In the draw held this Friday in Vienna, the Pamplonese team was awarded Group B alongside the Limoges Handball (France), FH Hafnarfjordur (Iceland) and the Maritimo de Madeira Andebol (Portugal).
The Bidasoa will once again play a leading role in the European competition and its main objective will be to take one of the first two seats in the group, a classification that will give it the pass to the play-offs.
The group phase will begin on 29 September and will consist of six days until 2December, with a total of 32 teams divided intoeight groupsconsisting offour teams .
At the end of the group stage, the first two qualifiers of each group will play theplay-offs , which will also include teams that finish third and fourth in the group phase.
One-way matches will be played on 9 and 16 February 2027, and return matches will be played on 23Februaryandon 2March.
The winners of each round will qualify for the 8th finals , where they will join the teams that finish fifth place in the EHF Champions League Main Round.
The 8th finals will be played on March 23 (one-way) and on March 30 (lap), then the quarter-finals will be played and, finally, the top four teams will play the title in the finals on May 22and 23, 2027.
