Bera Bera has made history by winning the Queen's Cup for the tenth time, the fourth in a row

Super Amara Bera Bera has won its tenth Queen's Cup, the fourth in a row, to continue making history. Imanol Alvarez's team has defeated 26-21 Mecalia Atletico Guardes  in the final in Illumbe.

The Donostiarra team has controlled the high-demand game from the start, as the entire Queen's Cup was played this weekend in Illumbe.

After suffering more than expected in the semi-finals, Imanol Alvarez's team has given everything from the start, but it has been noted that both teams were playing theirthird consecutive game  , especially in the case of Atletico Guardes, who had to play the extension to qualify for the final.

Proof of this has been the failure of several shots by both teams and the succession of faults in the offensive game. In addition, the gatekeepers have made decisive stops , which has led to very few goals in the first few minutes.

However, the Donostiarra team has scored 4 goals for the first quarter (8-4), and has maintained that advantage by the time the break came (11-7).

In the second half, the physical decline ofthe Atletico Guardes allowed Imanol Alvarez to better manage the minutes of his players. The Bera Bera then took a step forwardto break the contest in his favor.

At one point, however, taking advantage of the fact that Bera Bera was with one less player, the Pontevedresque team narrowed distances (16-14) and set out to tie the match.

However, none of this has happened. When they have played seven against seven again, Imanol Alvarez's team has made a hole in the scoreboard for Bera Bera to win the tenth Queen's Cup in its history.

Imanol Alvarez has won 18 titles with the Donostiarra club: 6 Leagues, 6 Queen's Cups and 6 Supercups. And before saying goodbye, he can expand that palmaris if Bera Bera wins the League.
