The Royal Society has qualified for the semi-finals of the King's Cup 2025-2026, in the quarter-finals, in the derbi played in Mendizorroza , after eliminating the Alavés. The Guipuzcoan team has won 2-3 ; the match has been intense and both have had options to qualify.

In the 76 minute, in a good offensive move by the Royal, Guedes scored the 2-2. There was a quarter of an hour left ahead and everything was undecided in the playoff. That goal gave confidence to the Royal; the Guipuzcoan team advanced strongly.
As a result of another very good move, in the 80s, Orri Oskarsson stood alone in front of Raul and scored 2-3. In just four minutes, the Royal went back and had an advantage in the championship for the first time. There was a lot of excitement until the end of the game, but the White-Blue team was able to maintain the result and finally managed to qualify for the semi-finals.
