The first red jersey in the race marked a time of 2:53:50 and crossed the finish line ahead of Belgian Lotte Kopecky (Team SD Worx-Protime) and German Franciizka Koch (FDJ United-Suez).
In addition to the rain, the first stage has been marked by the fall, in the absence of eight kilometers, and has damaged , among others, the 38-year-old Dutch veteran Marianne Vos (Visma) and the Spanish Sara Martin (Movistar).
The race has been on the block for the first two hours, and from there, the characteristics of the rain and the route have begun to divide the cyclists into about 50 in the platoon.
In the absence of 30 kilometers, when it has rained the most, the team has reached speed with the arrival of the sprint of the first stretch of Ponteareas.
Koch overtook Italian Letizia Paternoster and Dutch Loes Adegeest in the first, with six, four and two seconds respectively.
In the last ten kilometers, the pace has continued to live, with the Visma, EF Education and AG Insurance teams pulling, and then the fall has come, in one of the downturns, which has changed the plan of the goal together.
