Murgiarra will not participate in the Tour de France due to a back injury. Soudal Quick Step is betting on Belgian Tim Merlier.

The Navarro team has announced its team for this year's edition of the Tour de France, with its eight runners dressed in retro: Abel Balderstone, Fernando Gaviria, Sebastian Berwick, Alex, Molenaar, Jpel Nicolau, Stefano Oldani, Jakub Otruba and José Félix Parra.
