The seventh stage of the 2026 Giro de Italia will be played on Friday , May 15, starting in Formia and ending in a historic port, the Blockhaus . With a journey of 244 kilometers, it is the longest stage ofthe 109 Giro de Italia. The cyclists will leave at 10:45 a.m. and the winner will cross between 16:50 and 17:33.
In this seventh stage, cyclists will also have to climb the second-class port of Roccaraso. This banner, located at kilometre 166.4, is a 6.9 km climb and, at some point, it is up to 12%. The key, however, will probably be the Blockhausen: it is a 13.6 km climb, with an average slope of 8.4% and, on some slope, up to 14%.
The cyclist who will wear the pink maglia on the podium of the Blockhaus will strike his rivals in the face of the final victory. After the seventh day of the race, the weekend comes, which will not be easy for cyclists either.
