Berriatua presents the second edition of the Women's Jai Alai League
This is the second edition, and like last year, the tournament will begin in Berriatua, where more women will participate, as explained in today's presentation.

In the semi-finals of the Grand Slam of Markina, Erkiaga and Atain beat Goitia and Basque in the Kitta. They won the first set 15-12, lost the second set 14-15, and in the decisive, they won 5-3. Alavesista Maite Ortiz of Mendibil and Vizcaíno Maia Goikoetxea have won two games (5-15 and 5-15) and have taken the txapela. The reborn striker Elaia Gojenola and the Mutrikuarra zaguero Oaia Otaño have had no choice.
The new Summer League circuit has been presented in San Juan de Luz
The summer season will begin on July 2 at the fronton of San Juan de Luz (Lapurdi) and end on September 4 in Pau. Biarritz will also host part of this tournament. The top four pelotaris will play another championship in the United States in a format yet to be determined.
Barandika reappears with defeat in the Mungia Master Series after a long injury
After nearly five months off the court due to a serious injury to his elbow, Gernika's striker played again this afternoon. He reappeared in Mungia with Zabala against Goixerri and Lekerika. Barandika and Zabala lost in two games (9-15 and 14-15).
The Grand Slam of Markina-Xemein begins this Sunday and ends on July 16

Mungia Master Series tip basket tournament, 11-25 June
The Mungia Master Series Top Basket Championship was presented on Monday. Mungia will receive for the first time a competition from the Jai Alai League. It will be played every Thursday from 11 to 25 June. The matches will be broadcast on EITB Media.
Txanika-Argoitia and Bixente-Oyhenard will be measured in the final of the Grand Slam of San Sebastian
In the first match, Txanika and Argoitia won against Erik and Aratz. In the first set they lost 10-15, in the second they won 15-13, and in the last set they untied 5-3. In the second, Bixente and Oihenard also needed three sets against Urrutia and Eki. The final score was 10-15, 15-10 and 5-2.
Urreisti, Manomanist champion
Eñaut Urreisti is the new 2026 Manomanist top basket champion after defeating Ludovic Laduche 6-12 and 8-12in the Berritxu final.
