Goitia and Lekerika beat the Sorozabal brothers in two games and got into the final
The Biscayans have qualified for the final after defeating Johan and Gorka (15-6 and 15-8). The Labortans have played a bad game with too many mistakes, but Alex Goitia has played a great game.
Alex Goitia and Unai Lekerika have easily won Johan and Gorka Sorozabal in two games (15-6 and 15-8) on the fifth day of the semi-final league of the Eusko Label Winter Series that has been played on the fronton Jai Alai de Gernika, thus getting the ticket for the final of February 15.
Goitia and Lekerika have started the match much stronger than their rivals. Above all, Markina-Xemein's striker has been brilliant in the first edition of the opening game, commanding in so many and fine-tuning in the score, since he has made two excellent chops.
The second game has started in the same direction, with the Biscayan couple very well and without correcting the lapurtarra after the first game, making the same mistakes. Markina's striker and Gernika's zaguero have advanced 4-0 on the scoreboard. However, the Lapurdi brothers have had a slight reaction and have managed to match the game by 4-5 in a short space of time.
After the break, the Sorozabal brothers squeezed their teeth and tied the contest to 8. But they both made remarkable mistakes again, making bad decisions in front of an Alex Goitia who was not to be forgiven. Markina-Xemein's striker, the best of the four pundits, has given an exhibition and rounded the victory in two games (15-8), qualifying the Biscayan couple to the final.
It remains to be seen which striker will accompany Basque in the final, replacing the injured Barandika .
