Vitoria welcomes her champions at the seventh Cup celebrations

Vitoria-Gasteiz welcomes the King's Basketball Cup champions this afternoon. The Plaza de la Virgen Blanca has filled its neck to protect Kosner Baskonia players after winning their seventh Copa trophy last weekend.

The group's bus arrived in the square around 7:00 p.m. and fans greeted it with flares, chants and applause .

After the protocol photo with the authorities of the city, Álava and the Basque Autonomous Community, the players have been given an aurresku of honor, then the captain of Baskonia Kosner, Tadas Sedekerskis, has made a floral offering to Our Lady of White, and coach Paolo Galbiati has asked the players to put a T-shirt of champions at the foot of the image.

Forrest, the MVP of the final, has been one of the most applauded players by fans, but no doubt the audimeter has reached its highest level withthepresentation of thetoad  Paolo Galbiati C.

Then the evening protagonists have taken the floor, first Captain Sedekerskis, then Star Howard and then Coach Galbiati. In a second round of speeches, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, with a moving message on his cell phone, has raised the square again.

The party has not ended there, as\u00A0, the Nigerian Eugene Omoruyi has taken the microphone, amid cries of "Eugenio is gasteiztarra", to thank the fans in Basque with an unexpected "thank you". 

Captain Sedekerskis has also joined the square with the song 'See the Mountaineers'.

Finally, Forrest has played the Baskonia drum with the rhythm of celebrating when the Alavés team wins in the Buesa Arena.
