Asier Martinez has secured a position in the semi-finals of the World Championships covered track in Torun, Poland. The Pamplonese won fourth place in his series after Dylan Beard (USA, 7.50), Junxi Liu (China, 7.53) and Saguirou Badamassi (Nigeria, 7.63).
After winning third place in the 110-metre Eugene World Open Air barrier races and becoming Europe's champion in Munich (2022), the Zizur athlete is trying to recover his best after a brilliant winter season; in January he signed a time of 7.59 in Düsseldorf, his record with a tenth time difference in 2024.
On the other hand, the Valencian Quique Llopis has also qualified for the semi-finals, and international favorites such as the American Trey Cunningham and the French Wilhem ￮
