The Guipuzcoano sprinter has achieved the best mark recorded in this test, along with the quartet of athletes from Madrid and Navarre, in a competition held this weekend in Catalonia.

Oiartzuarra athlete Ander Garaiar has this weekend set a new world record inthe mixed 4x100 relay in the category sub 20, in a test played in the town of Sant Celoni in which the Garaiarras, the Madrileños Hugo Fernández Oliver and María Carla Retana and the Navarro Carla Aguirre have won the victory.
With this, Garaiar adds a new victory to the ever-growing palmaris. The speed racer reached one of the biggest milestones of his career in August 2025, when hewon the gold in the 100 meters four in the European sub 20 played in Finland
