Orio returns to the path of victory in Zierbena
The San Nikolas , second on Saturday in Bilbao, won its second win of the season at the XLIII Petronor Flag. Getaria was second after rowing in the second batch, five seconds away, and Bermeo third, 13 seconds away.
After being second on Saturday in Bilbao, the Giopuzcos have won the XLIII Petronor Flag , the second of the season. Getaria has finished in second place, 5 seconds away, after paddling down the least favorable street in the second round, and Bermeo has been third, 13 seconds away.
In the first length it seemed that Urdaibai was going to face the San Nikolas , especially since they had been able to beat the Guipuzcoans the day before. But today the story has been very different. Gorka Aramberri's boys, who seemed to be going with the autopilot, have broken the regatta in the second length and managed their advantage until they crossed the finish line. Zierbena, who was rowing at home, has won her particular fight with the Donostiarra .
The second batch, as has been said, has been dominated by Getaria almost from the first shovels. Hondarribia has put a little bit of an obstacle in the first length, but in the second Hope has put another march and has not suffered much to keep in mind, although before starting it has rowed down the fourth street that no one wanted.
In the first batch, Santurtzi has been able to recover from the bad result on Saturday in Bilbao. In the first few lengths, the Lekit and, above all, the Chapela, have shown their noses to the Sotera, but in the last long, the patron Asier Arego has broken the regatta in favor of the purple by putting his team on a wave. Chapela has been second, the Lekittarra has been third, and Ares has been last, far from his rivals.
In this way, Orio strengthens the first place in the overall ranking with 35 points and opens a four-point lead over Bermeo, second with 31 points. Third is Zierbewith 29 points. Getaria overtakes Donostiarra and climbs to fourth place with 27 points, four more than Arkaitz Diaz's team has.
