Mountain runner Jokin Uribetxeberria dies

Mountain runner Jokin Uribetxeberria, 34, died this Saturday at Legazpi on the climb to Mount Gorostiaga, according to various media reports.
A citizen has alerted SOS Deiak to the discovery of a man on a runway in the Urtatza-Egialde neighbourhood, after which emergency teams have moved to the site, which, despite trying to revive him, have not been able to save his life, according to the Basque Government's Department of Security.
The body has been transferred to the San Sebastian Institute of Legal Medicine for an autopsy.
