Lasartearra pier Maialen Chourraut was seventh this Thursday in the women's K1 final at the Eslalon World Cup in Oklahoma City, USA, while Donostiarra Pau Echaniz finished tenth in the men's K1 final.
Chourraut has participated in the final after being sixth in the semifinal with a mark of 98.13. And in the decisive descent of the final, the palist of Lasarte-Oria has marked a time of 97.05 and has been ranked seventh.
Australian Jessica Fox won the gold (92.06), American Evy Leibfarth the silver (93.37) and Kimberley Woodsthe bronze (94.91).
As for the men's test, Echániz has been seventh in the semi-final (87.36) and in the descent to medals, Echániz has scored 90.02. Czech Jakub Krejci (83.65) has won the championship, Polish Michal Pasiut silver (84.34) and Italian Giovanni De Gennaro bronze (85.27).
