Linda Noskovak has declaredherself the winner of the Wimbledon tournament on Saturday by beating her compatriotKarolina Muchova 6-2, 5-7 and 6-3 , winning the first Grand Slamof her career.
Noskova's offensive game, brilliant in the two-week competition at the All England Club, has been the key to imposing itself on the experience of her opponent, who has been defeated in the final of a major new tournament, following the one two years ago at Roland Garros against the Polish Iga Swiat.
The 21-year-old tennis player has taken two and a half hours to achieve the most important victory of his career, becoming the youngest Wimbledon champion since his compatriot Petra Kvitova in 2011 and the third Czech in the last four years.
