Rahm wants to wear the second green jacket, McIlroy the second straight and Scheffler makes history in Augusta
This is the first time that the three golfers from Barrika, Northern Ireland and the United States have met in a tournament since last July from the United Kingdom Open. On the other hand, the Hondarribiarra Jose Maria Olazabal, who has reserved a place for life for his victories in 1994 and 1999, will take part again.

Jon Rahm , the Lion of Barrika (Bizkaia), is among the favorites to wear his second green jacket at the Augusta Masters after the strong start of the season. Likewise , the current champion, Rory Mcllroy, and the world's top golfer, Scottie Scheffler, are among the top favourites for victory.
The Masters began this Thursday at the Augusta National Golf Club (Georgia, USA) that the "Big Three" of world golf has aroused great expectation, as for the first time all three have met in the first major of the year, with the experience of having won before.
It is also the first time that Rahm, Northern Irish Mcllroy and the American Scheffler have met in a tournament since last July at the United Kingdom Open.
The one who's not in Augusta is Tiger Woods , a 15-major winner, who announced last month that he was temporarily moving away from golf after a car accident.
Rahm, who knows what it's like to win in Augusta, said on Tuesday at a press conference that this gives him "some peace of mind." The Biscayan wore the green jacket that is given to the winner of the Masters every year in 2023. He is the second Basque to win in Augusta, behind the Hondarribiarra José María Olazabal (1994 and 1999).
But Rahm hasn't been able to repeat his success in the Augusta holes ever since, and for the next two years he was out of the top 10.
This edition, however, comes at an excellent time for Rahmbo, having achieved very good results in the first half of the season: a victory in Hong Kong, three seconds and a fifth.
The Lionof Barrika comes from winning the LIV Golf Tournament in the last two years, and now that he scores for the rankings, he's ranked 30th in the world rankings.

It's a privilege to be here.
On the other hand, Jose Maria Olazabal will again be at the Augusta Masters. Olazabal has a place for life for his victories in 1994 and 1999, but at 60 hehas admitted that he has few editions left to participate in the tournament that made him a golf myth. The 90th edition of the first "major" of the season will be 37 for Olazabal.
"I amvery happy to be here again, it is a very special place for me, I have great, beautiful memories, it is many years and it is a privilege to be here, especially when you realize that there is less and less left, you try to make the best of it in some way, to enjoy the experience as much as possible, and I will try to do so, "the Hondarribiarra said.
