The American Bryson DeChambeau won the LIV tournamentin Singapore this Sunday after breaking the tie with theCanadian Richard T. Lee . On a day marked by the interruptions caused by the storm, the Canadian has had everything in his favor to win but has not taken his chance.
DeChambeau (winner of the US Open in 2020 and 2024) won his fourth win on the Saudi golf circuit, while Jon Rahm was 5 to four hits after the title he won a week ago in Hong Kong.
DeChambeau and Lee, for their part, have managed to finish the day as leaders - with 14 - after the sinking of the Chilean Joaquin Niemann in the second half of the tour.
Rahm, for his part, has tried to maintain leadership, but the pressure and difficult conditions of the field have not allowed him to approach the 14 that DeChambeau and Lee have made to reach the last hole.
In the final stretch of the draw, the Californian has sent the ball into the water at the exit and has given the 25-year-old South Korean player a clear advantage to premiere his champion in the LIV category and become the first rookie without a team to win a tournament.
