Higinio Rivero has won the 24th place in the Cross-country Skiing Sprint onTuesday at the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Rivero has not been ranked for the semi-finals of the Cross-country Skiing Sprint, but he has made history because, competing in cross-country skiing, the 43-year-old Barakaldo has played three sports in his Paralympic Games.

Rivero has decided that he will not play the 10-kilometer test on Wednesday: "I'd rather keep my strength for the final biathlon test and the 20-kilometer cross-country skiing test," he explains, so he has two more days left to compete, Friday and Sunday.
