Klaebo has made history at the Winter Games by winning his ninth Olympic gold
The 29-year-old Norwegian is the most gold medalist so far, overtaking Bjorn Daehlie, Marit Bjorgen and Ole Einar Bjorners.
The Norwegian Johannes Klaebo won the gold this Sunday inthe 4x7.5 kilometre relay test of the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, so he has so far won four in Italy and, in total, the historic ninth Olympic gold.
So Klaebo is at the top of the history classification, after being defeatedbyhis compatriots Bjorn Daehlie, Marit Bjorgen and Ole Einar Bjornde .
In 2018, at PyeongChang, he took home three gold; two more in Beijing in 2022; and has been a world champion 15 times. Moreover, he will still be able to beat another record this Wednesday, that of getting the most gold at the same Winter Olympics, a record that currently holds the American speed skater Eric Heiden.
