The talk comes after major investments made in recent years, including the Circuit Rooftop hospital complex, which has 9, 10 and 11 curves and views of the main straight, and the other major investment has been the installation of solar panels in different parts of the circuit.
Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula 1, celebrated the continuity of the event. "Barcelona is an impressive city and Formula 1 fans welcome us with a tremendous passion, so I am crazy to continue competing on the Catalan circuit, "he said.
Built as part of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games development program in 1991, the Montmeló circuit has been the stage for several memorable moments of the tournament, such as the first win at a Dutch pilot Max Verstappen Grand Prix in 2016.
