Fighter Oier Ibarretxe wins bronze at BOXAM International
The Galdakao boxer has won the bronze medal after three fights in his category: the first against the Belgian representative, the second against Canada and the third semi-final against Ukraine.
Oier Ibarretxe, a boxer with a scholarship from the Basque Team Foundation, has won third place in the BOXAM International Tournament Elite 2026 inLa Nucia (Alicante) , a tournament that brings together male and female elite categories and in which 300 boxers from more than 20 countries have registered.

The Galdakao boxer debutedat the 2024 Paris Olympics against the prestigious Kazakh boxer Bazarbay Mukhammedsabyr. It was a good lesson to face one of the best boxersinhis category. Last year, competed in the 2025 World Elite Championships in Liverpool.
