The penalty missed in the last second left the Beti Onak out of the play-off in Malaga (23-20)

A penalty failed in the last second has sentenced Replasa Beti-Ona (23-20) to defeat against the Malaga Costa del Sol in the return match of the quarter-finals of the Iberdrola Guerreras League play-off played this Sunday in Malaga.

The Navarro team had a slight two-goal lead with a victory in the one-way game  (24-22), but it was not enough for them and they were eliminated.

The first part of the match has been very equal, Malaga has taken the lead in the first few strokes, but the Beti Ona has not been left behind and has matched the score several times, even getting ahead. However, there has been no clear command and they have gone to rest with the tie (11-11).

In the second half, the game script hasn't changed much.

With the score of 23-20, Malaga was the winner. Both sides have had several hits, but none have scored. At the end of the time, the Beti-Onak has had at hand  to take the playoff to the extension with a last-minute penalty.
