Imanol Alvarez leaves Bera Bera handball next season
Club President Tatiana Garmendia announced in a statement that the coach will not continue next season and will explain her departure at a press conference in the Guipuzcoana capital on Monday.
The current coach of the Super Amara Bera Bera, Imanol Alvarez, will not continue as coach at the end of this season, leaving the Donostiarra club on his own initiative after seven years in a row.
Alvarez, who last season won the League, Cup and Iberian Supercup titles, has won this last tournament again this season. He arrived at the Guipuzcoan team in 2018-19and, by his hand, the club has grown in all facets, to the point of dominating women's handball.
He had previously been coach of the Bera Bera, inthe 2012-13 season, and after a successful year winning the League and the Cup, he left the team for personal reasons.
