Guardameta Raúl Fernández will not continue at the Deportivo Alavés, as announced on Wednesday by the Vitorian club. The 38-year-old bilbaine player has been part of the Babazorro team for the 2025-2026 season, in which he has replaced Antonio Sivera.
As an Alavés footballer, Raúl Fernández has played five games, all in the Copa del Rey, and in four games he did not score a goal.
Now the Alavés recovers two goalkeepers who have been assigned to other teams, namely Adrián Rodríguez (who has been to Real Zaragoza), and Jesús Owono (from Andorra).
