Athletic has turned the game upside down, and Alavés has remained on the edge of the abyss (2-4)

Alavés has lost 2-4 to Athletic in Mendizorroza . The Babazorro team has suffered a severe defeat by going twice ahead on the scoreboard and staying at two points of the descent posts pending the outcome of Seville on Monday.

Ernesto Valverde's team has made a poor first part, but in the second he has managed to go back to the match with goals from Robert Navarro, Oihan Sancet and Nico Williams (2). With this victory the red-whites breathe.    

At the beginning of the meeting, the initiative was from Athletic, and the red-whites tried to create danger, but the goal was the work of the Alavés for the 8th minute.

The Vitorian team has started the match with the ball in the back, leaving the possession of the ball to the opponent. However, it was enough for him to reach Unai Simon's goal once to get ahead of the marker.

Alavés, on the other hand, has taken a big hit , and that's the end of the match, with Quique Sanchez Flores's boys desperate and powerless in the final stretch.
