San Mamés will not host the 2028 Women's Champions League final, which will be played at the Parc Olympique in Lyon

The Parc Olympique Lyonnais of Lyon, France , will host the final of the UEFA Women's Champions League 2028 , so San Mamés will not once again host the highest continental women's competition four years after the final of 2024, when FC Barcelona became champion at the Bilbao football field, and UEFA has also named the Cardiff National Stadium of Wales as the venue for the 2029women's final.

On the other hand, the Spotify Camp Nou in Barcelona will host the 2029 Men's Champions League final after the UEFA directive this Tuesday chose the fields of the upcoming club finals at its meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece.
