Bayern and Manchester United win, and Rome draw at the opening of the Champions League

Bayern Munich has begun its 2026-27 Champions League career with authority after beatingBodo/Glimt 5-0 at the Allianz Arena. The German team, one of the contenders for the title, has needed a large second half to sentence a match that has come to rest without goals.
