Sweden has defeated Tunisia, 5-1, Côte d'Ivoire has defeated Ecuador, 1-0, and Netherlands and Japan have tied, 2-2, on the first day of the 2026 World Cup group stage in Mexico, the United States and Canada, Sunday night and early Monday morning. Thus, in Group F, Sweden is the first leader, beating Tunisia, and Netherlands and Japan have one point, while in Group E, Boli Costa is ranked second, tied with Germany, after winning Ecuador.
In this context, in Monterrey, Sweden has won a great victory over Tunisia, winning 5-1.
