The United States has defeated Paraguay (4-1), and Canada has tied against Bosnia (1-1)

United States vs Paraguay: exhibition in debut (4-1)

The United States has started the World Cup hard, and Mauricio Pochettino's team showed great intensity from the start, controlling the possession of the ball, creating a quick and dangerous game in attack.

Paraguayan player Damian Bobadilla 's early goal on his own doorstep in minute 7 broke the balance.

Christian Pulisic was one of the leading players in the game, leading his team's offensive game. Folarin Balogun scoredtwo goals in a spectacular first half that almost sentenced the game.

However, in a ball sent to the area, Mauritius found a 3-1 play in the 73rd minute.

But in the extension, Giovanni Reyna put the icing on a big shot for 4-1 .

Paraguay, returning to the World Cup after 16 years of suspension, was unable to keep up with the local team. Despite its best performance in the second half, the United States maintained control and confirmed its strong start to the tournament.

Canada vs Bosnia and Herzegovina: emotional draw (1-1)

Canadacouldn't win its first World Cup at home, but it won a valuable draw against Bosnia and Herzegovinaat Toronto Stadium.

The Canadian team dominated much of the game and created opportunities, but again showed problems in definition. Bosnia took advantage of standing ball action to advance with agoal by Jovo Lukic (0-1).

In 79 minutes, Cyle Larin scored thefinal draw (1-1),  and scored Canada's first goal in a World Cup in her country.
