The Spanish Federation has announced that the grand final of the tournament will be played on April 18 and will begin at 21:00. The Royal Society or Athletic will be in that final and the Basque team that manages to qualify will face Barcelona or Atlético de Madrid.
The 2025-2026 King's Cup final will be played on Saturday, April 18, at 21:00, in Cartuja, Seville, as announced on Wednesday by the RFEF.
The final of the tournament was originally scheduled for 25 April, but the Spanish Federation indicated a few weeks ago that it would take place on the previous weekend, 18 or 19 April, so it is official that it will be played on Saturday 18 April and start at 21:00.
In that final there will be a Basque team, Real Sociedad or Athletic, and the other finalist team will be Barcelona or Atlético de Madrid. It will be defined on March 4; the day before, on March 3, the Barcelona-Atlético de Madrid will be played back (on the way out, Atlético de Madrid was imposed 4-0), and on March 4, the Real Sociedad-Athletic will be played in Anoeta (in San Mamés).
