Liverpool announces Andoni Iraola as its new coach
Usurbil will take the place of Dutch Arne Slot after three very good seasons at Bournemouth.
Liverpool has announced that Guipuzcoano Andoni Iraola will be the new coach for the next two seasons, while Usurbil will replace Dutch Arne Slot , who has led the Bournemouth for the past three seasons.
"Of course you know Liverpool, it's a great club, one of the great clubs in the world," he said. "But as I feel inside and understand this club a little bit more, I always thought it was a special club. You don't need much to feel attracted to Liverpool."
"But of course, the atmosphere, the fans, the club, the players, the opportunity to train world-class players, to fight for titles... I think it can't be more attractive than this, it's hard to find, so I'm very excited to start," he concluded.
