Tour, profile and schedule of the Getxo Circuit 2026
The 81st edition of the race will be held on Sunday, August 2, with a 172.2 km tour starting in Bilbao at the Guggenheim Museum and ending in Getxo at the Arkotxa Barrier, which will be broadcast live by EITB from 14:00.

On Sunday, August 2, the 81st Getxo-Otxoa Brothers Memorial Circuit will pay tribute to Pello Bilbao, who retires at the end of this season. kirolak eitb.eus race live, from 14:00 , and ETB1 from 15:00.
Bilbao, 36, will be the main protagonist in the race that will seek the successor of the Mexican Isaac del Toro, winner in 2025. The great novelty of this year's tour will be the double climb to the Pike Road.
It's a two-kilometer wall with an average slope of 14%. The Getxo Circuit found its corner in 2020. The Tour de France, launched in Bilbao in 2023, made it known internationally.
The two climbs of kilometers 123 and 156, the last 16 kilometers from the finish line, will be decisivein selecting the team of cyclists who will win, before facingthe hard slope of the Txomintxu , already in the city centre of Getxo.
The starting line next to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao will include 16 teams, four of which (UAE, Lidl-Trek, Bahrain Victorious and Movistar) belong to the WorldTeam category. In addition, the three Basque ProTeam teams will be present: Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, Euskaltel-Euskadi and Kerm Pharma.
