Charmist took the victory in the second stage ending in Le Puy-en-Velay after a long getaway

Anthon Charmig (Uno-X), Baptiste Veistroffer (Lotto), Alex Diaz (Caja Rural), Nadav Raisberg (NSN), Benjamin Thomas (Cofidis), Henri-François Renard-Haquin (Picnic PostNL), Raul Garcia Pierna (Movistar), Vlad van Mechelen (Bahrain), Jordan Jegat (Total Energies) and Clement (Group) have completed the day's escape.
The fugitives have cooperated up to thelast 50 kilometers , when an attack by Braz triggered the pace, leaving Diaz, Raisberg and Veistroffer behind.
On the last climb of theday, at the Cote de Saint-Vidal, Charmig, Garcia Pierna and Braz were at the head of the race. The Dane opened a gap and entered the finish line alone with more than 30 secondsahead of the rear.
