The seventh stage of Paris Nice will only have 47 km due to bad weather
Today's departure was scheduled for noon, but the organizers have decided to restrict the route for the second consecutive day. The cyclists have returned to the team's buses and will depart at 1.45 p.m., 47 kilometres from the Isolak destination.
The seventh stage of Paris-Nice, originally scheduled between Nice and Auron, has suffered its second reduction due to the storm of water and snow that is raging in the Atlantic Pyrenees region, so this Saturday's stage will be between Pont Louis Nucera and Isola, 47 kilometres.
The riders have returned to the team's buses and will leave at 13:45, 47 miles from the Isola finish line.
For the third year in a row, the main stage of Paris-Nice has been adapted. Last Friday it was decided to shorten the seventh stage and leave the finish line out of the port of Auron due to bad weather.
