Mikel Landa will lead the Soudal Quick-Step in the Round
Soudal Quick-Step sports director Kevin Hulsmans has stated that "running at home will give the Alavés cyclist an extra motivation."
Mikel Landa will be the leader of the Soudal Quick-Step in theReturnthat starts next Monday in Bilbao and ends on April 11 in Bergara .
The Alavés cyclist finished the 2018 and 2023 editions in second place on the podium and this year will aim to be among the favorites and contest the general.
"Running at home will give Mikel Landa an extra motivation, "Soudal Quick-Step sports director Kevin Hulsmans said in statements to the race organization.
Landa will be accompanied by seven other cyclists: the Belgians Ayco Bastiaens, Steff Cras, Illan Van Wilder and Mauri Vansevenant; the British time champion Ethan Hayter; and the Slovak Martin Svrcek.
