Roglic, Ayuso, Del Toro, Aranburu, Landa, Pello Bilbao and Izagirre will be at the 2026 Return to the Basque Country
The race, which will be held from 6 to 11 April, has been officially presented on Thursday and will consist of six stages, with a total of 29 qualifying ports to be promoted by cyclists.
Primoz Roglic (Red Bull-BORA), Juan Ayuso (Lidl-Trek), Isaac del Toro (UAE), Alex Aranburu (Cofidis), Mikel Landa (Soudal Quick-Step), Pello Bilbao (Bahrain-Victorious)and Jon Izagirre (Cofidis) will take part in the 2026 Return to the Basque Country.
In addition to the aforementioned cyclists, the young Paul Seixas (Decathlon) will take second place in this year's Strade Bianche.
So there will be three winners in the last few years, as Roglic won the txapela in 2018 and 2021, Juan Ayuso in 2024, and Jon Izagirre wore the last yellow jersey in 2019.
The tour plans to play three stages in Bizkaia, two in Gipuzkoa and one in Navarre. The main stage will be the penultimate, starting and ending in Eibar.
